What if I have to cancel? Will I be refunded?

No. Our refund policy is pretty strict. When you join us at DM Retreats, we set up everything for your trip. Unfortunately, if you decide to cancel, we can't get our time and expenses back, so refunds aren't possible. You'll be responsible for the full trip cost. To add some wiggle room, think about snagging Cancel for Any Reason insurance with Rene Care within 2 weeks of booking your trip.

Are there any waivers I’ll need to sign?

There are three crucial documents you’ll be required to sign: Release of Liability, Covid Safety, and Payment Agreement. These forms detail the terms for your DM Retreats booking. After your booking is finalized, these documents will be sent via email. Please sign and return them to divina@dmretreats.com within 48 hours of receipt.

Failure to do so may lead to the forfeiture of your retreat spot, and unfortunately, no refunds will be provided in such a case.

Where does DM Retreats stand on the issue in Palestine?

We stand unapologetically with Palestinian liberation. At DM Retreats, we firmly stand against the illegal occupation of Palestine and the injustices that Palestinians have endured for over 75 years. We believe in a vision where Palestinians can enjoy the fundamental right to be free in their own land, from the river to the sea.

It's important to emphasize that our call for justice is not a call to violence. We wholeheartedly love and respect our Jewish brothers and sisters and wish no harm upon anyone. Our hope is to see a future where all people, regardless of their ethnic or religious background, can live in peace and with dignity.

We passionately advocate for Palestinians to enjoy the basic human rights that are inalienable and universal. They should have the freedom of movement, access to essential services, and the right to an airport, just like any other group of people. We are outraged by the oppressive walls, checkpoints, military brutality, and barriers that have ensnared and imprisoned countless Palestinian lives, and we envision a world where these dehumanizing conditions are lifted.

Who is welcome to join these retreats and group trips?

These trips are exclusively for individuals who identify as women and are at least 21 years of age. All ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations are welcome to join. However, please note that passports issued by Israel are not accepted due to their mandatory military service. For safety reasons, individuals affiliated with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are not permitted to join due to concerns about potential involvement in acts of genocide or other war crimes. Individuals with racist or violent political beliefs, including Nazis, KKK members, and Zionists, are not welcome on our trips. We have an obligation to protect the physical safety of all our guests as well as the people who help us host these trips.

Are these retreats run legally?

Yes! That is very important to me. Our visa agent and accountant have helped us incorporate and pay taxes in Bali. We have the necessary permits and paperwork to run retreats in Bali legally. Many retreats are run illegally which is unfair to the amazing Balinese locals, and the retreat guests.

Where does the money go?

Nearly all the funds go towards the retreat activities. These trips cost thousands to run. After trip expenses, we make a small amount of money. We also pay taxes in the countries in which we are based, and donate a portion of the profits to various charities.

Your trip leader as well as local and foreign experts.

Are you BDS compliant?

We do our very best to be BDS compliant. Our Tokyo 2024 trip included Disneyland and DisneySea. The trip was planned in 2023 before the Disney boycott began. Clients had already booked the trip before the boycott started, so unfortunately we were unable to make any changes to the itinerary. Moving forward Disney will never be included on our trips again.

What do you pay the people who work on these retreats with you?

It’s up to them. We ask them their rate and pay them their rate. It’s important to us that everyone working on these retreats feels valued and treated fairly. We’ve chosen to pay people more than what they’ve asked for when we’ve felt they were underpricing themselves.

How do I get a visa to travel to Bali?

Visa on Arrival is the most common visa type. You will get this for $30USD once you land in the Bali Airport. this visa gives you 30 days in the country. You can extend this visa once for a total of 60 days and cannot be extended again. For longer stays visit this website https://www.balizero.com

Do I need a passport to travel?

Yes to leave your country and enter another country you need a valid passport. Your passport cannot expire within 6 months of travel.
